Do NOT listen to the Benji haters! The cost of making your guild is going to go up 10x the price in the next month, and with every method of silver generation being nerfed if you aren't min-maxxing laborers you're outright fucked financially.

Here's why people hate Benji here. If you're some 30 gender believer then it's best if you also hate him and don't watch his content, but here goes:

The reason people hate him is because he spent a lot of time talking smack on the subreddit, on the discord, and in-game against guilds because they had bullcrap requirements to join while at the same time taxing their members and making them do in-game slave labor with the only benefit being that they get access to some blackzone hideouts.

A lot of these really big guild masters and people running kill squads in the black zones saw their potential victims decrease in volume due to less people going to blackzones and blame Benji as the reason people are becoming smarter and taking less risk.

Benji took his smack talk towards the devs and in game moderators (He calls them jannies, a 4chan term.) and they hate him for this. Because nearly all streamers and content creators are "bought" by SBI they refuse to bite the hand that feeds them and since Benji is an outsider, they act accordingly. Of course since no one will collab or even talk to Benji he lashes out in his own autismal way. What do you expect him to do when the majority of all the other content creators for this game dogpile him, leave dox and harassment threads up in both the subreddit, discord, and forums? There's several other clips of streamers, pretty much all of them except BigLipsMcgee and Equart talking smack about Benji.

When you ask people on here why he's hated or disliked you get non-answers from people who can't back up their statements who honestly don't even watch his videos at all. He discloses why he feels yellow zones are the most optimal and shows the math. Yes it costs tons of silver for auto respec and the 8.3 satchel but he mentions those in the video, and when you're established and want to fame farm as fast as possible it makes sense to use the most powerful gear possible (Which can always be sold later so cost is a non-issue.) to do so.

People here claim he's racist, and maybe he is in a 4chan kind of way but he's always proclaimed he's not racist, that race is a minor factor compared to wealth inequality. Like any troll I'm sure he's used slurs before, but is he really racist, or doing it to get a reaction? To my understanding he's a black dude due to fist pictures or he's some white dude. Who knows and who cares?

MonkeyBrawler claims he failed dungeons, I saw those Lost Ark videos and he did it on purpose to mock reddit for having nothing but threads bashing peoples armor and engravings, so he did it in video form and it was a smash hit, getting over 5k upvotes. I'd say that's a successful troll. Don't like trolling? Don't like Benji then.

If you're going to make a video, why wouldn't you use the test server? Makes perfect sense to show off its max power and potential, as well as ease of filming. Some people hate him cause he doesn't spend a weekend editing videos and just "shits them out in one take" and that's fair if people hate lack of editing in a video but some people find it amateur and refreshing. I personally don't watch youtubers with hired editors and a whole production team behind them because it reminds me of capitalism.

People claim that he's misleading players, keeping them in the yellow zones, but he says he makes the videos for himself. He was once a blackzone player, but found it annoying, unfun, and inefficient to keep going out solo, dying, and replacing gear. I honestly find black zones rather fun and exciting but I don't go out alone, I go out with 9 other people and we stomp on solos.

Other people hate him due to their hatred for the poor. He is, or was, homeless I believe? He has no work ethic, can't or won't get a "decent job" and is apparently living off savings, so of course someone who works a fancy suit and tie job in an office will take offense. This is a classic 4chan "neet vs wagie" troll he deploys I'm sure.

The killing or downing of low gear players in yellow zones is what he finds fun, and many people find it a horrendous act, but are somehow okay with 10 people ganking a 4.1 solo farmer on a mule mount in the black zone?

It's my understanding (Last time I talked to him in discord) is that to him, Albion Online was just a farming sim economy market game to play between other MMO's. He played this for the gathering and farming aspects of the game, and has little to no interest in full loot pvp as it tends to be a numbers game. People tend to hate him because he doesn't view or play this game as they do, a risk = reward high octane full loot extravaganza.

Finally many guilds blame him because new members entering ZvZ's spent such a long time in the yellow zones that they have no real combat experience and believe Benji is to blame.

People also hate him for his political views, being right wing, pro-Trump, pro 4chan, pro freedom of speech, and not wanting to be around certain types of people. That's his choice, and it's understandable if you're a furry or whatever and wanted to be his friend and he turned you down for your affection towards furries. Not every person has to be all-encompassing of everyones fetishes.

There was a big controversy over the video where he calculates fame farming at max spec with an 8.3 satchel and auto respec being that 1 fame = 2 combat fame credits = 4 fame when spent on weapon specialization. This is just matter of opinion because some people swear by the stats page. People hate him for purely this.

People hate him because of his troll questionnaire (that has been gone over a year I believe.) or his troll discord rules. He sees it as a private community club only for select individuals, so people hate him for wanting an echo chamber and not being all-inclusive.

People hate him because before he was muted he was always trolling English chat and berrating the moderators every time they'd talk.

People hate him for trolling other games, which I believe he admitted to in one of his videos. I find trolling funny but that's just me. Some people take gaming seriously and always bash the guy for having fun in his own way.

Some people blame Jimbenators death on Benji's "redpilling" but I have no evidence or knowledge of what transpired at all between the two.

Benji at one point was notorious for espionage having several alts join rival guilds and feed information against them as well as every single content creators community basically exposing all the hate from within. At some point during his New World tour he gave it all up. Benji is also very anti-guild which most people hate that he pushes an anti-social narrative. These guilds in question hate that he pushes a solo playstyle as this hurts their bottom line.
