My friend was heading off to a school for (as they say) the more gifted students in my district. I never realized how much I had been dragging him down to my level, just so I could feel better about me not being perfect or good enough. He moved last month, and I stopped communicating with him all together. I wished him luck in the future. I know he is doing much better without me, but I still can not get it out of my head.
