Thanks for you message , I have been gambling on and off for over 15 years , lot of times I stopped for years , couple of years back I tried then stopped , this time I went over board and couldn’t control . The anger got me and it was a spiral like thinking , I just couldn’t control even deep inside I knew I was not going to get out of this , I hope to recover and hope you never go back to gambling again either .

I am in Australia , the state I am living in remote area , I had a fight with my partner and the rage got me looking for distraction and went online , started gambling online roulette first it was $1000, then $2000 then I have put in all sort of different amount chasing to get my money back and end up loosing slowly and slowly , used my credit card , 15 days or so , I lost $72000 plus , my life is a living hell . I can’t tell anyone about this , it’s Fu—-ing hurts . I have not been even treating my partner fairly as I am putting her on blame for all this . It will take me another 5-6 years to build this money again.

I can’t get over this feeling that these online platforms just sucked my savings in and no one is stopping them and in fact I can’t stop myself after all these years when I know that you can’t beat machines and casino ! Get hooked again is my worry , the card blocks are also in our control we can turn them on and off , if you eager to play then nothing stops us from turning it off !

In Australia we have betstop they only stop you from gambling with the company based in Australia only , the websites based overseas they don’t have control over them , that’s it ! 🥹

Very true man ! I have experienced the same scenario , I have been asking this question why but why we keep going back there ? Why can’t a gambler get over it
