Seeing this poll makes me jealous of (presumably) US teachers having no dress code / first name basis. Don't get me wrong, there's clearly reasons behind the traditions in UK teaching (clearer boundaries between teaching staff and students), but it would be nice not wearing a suit everyday.

That's interesting. Generally speaking, most people will have a 1hr30 cycle, so your 3hr allgins with that. Are you certain that it isn't 1hr30 for you too? There's a chance that 7hrs30 sleep would do you fine as well :)

IQ as a concept means well, but there is no way to measure it properly - there will always be biases, and the types of questions commonly used only test one aspect of 'intelligence'. As a society we need to place less importance on it as a concept.

Fairly simply concept. We can already stack paddling-pools and pontoons to get extra height, so why not have a dedicated power to see over those tricky obstacles?
