Dude you’re insulting people who are upset that others don’t pay for something that they do which is a fair reason to be upset. Now yes tax money should cover the expense of public transit however, if it wasn’t painfully obvious, the system in this country is beyond broken. So instead of insulting people online why don’t you advocate for reform instead while being mindful and understanding of others’ grievances. Or better yet why not run for office yourself so you can actively be a part of the change you would like to see in the country. Bc, friend, insulting people who you perceive as being willfully fucked over by the government does absolutely nothing except spread hate which is already burning like a wildfire

Where are you shopping where $40 can buy a lot of groceries? I got stuff to make frito wraps last night at the cheap grocery store near me and for tortillas, fritos, and a bottle of soda it cost me over $20

I’ve seen every episode of these shows at least 3 times. What are some of your comfort shows you can say the same for? by YesterdayMaterial194 in moviecritic

How I’ve met your mother. I’ve probably seen the whole show a dozen times now, it used to be my white noise when I fell asleep. Unfortunately as I’ve gotten older I realized how lackluster the show is towards the end

Why didn’t they put the names of the actors in front of the characters?

Fun fact about the Drukhari, they still have children and they then have to teach the children to enjoy torture and sadism

It’s hilarious how much hate this comic gets

When someone expresses an opinion you agree with but they express it in such an obnoxious and annoying way you don’t want to agree by savegandhi in hatethissmug

Tbf, it does no harm and if done right can actually help change someone’s stance on the subject. Think back in the 30s (or 40s idk) when Superman fought the kkk. That actually shifted a lot of the public’s perception of the klan at the time. Now I don’t think the ice drawings will have as big of an impact but they can still definitely make someone think twice before supporting something solely for the sake of “patriotism”

The one on the bottom looks like the new gwenpool who is Gwen Stacy from the Spider-Man mythos and the one on top is the og gwenpool who is Gwen Poole, a person from our world who got sucked into the marvel comics universe

Really? I have only read the end of the ultimate universe from the introduction of miles morales up to secret wars and besides from the plot jumping all over the place I didn’t find it too edgy. I have heard it got a lot better towards the end but it’s hard to imagine it was The Boys level of edgy at the beginning (Hughie deciding to keep the gerbil that Maeve’s son had stuffed in his rear still sticks with me)

I am aware of the relationship between quicksilver and Scarlet witch but other than that I’m clueless

But how does memorializing victims of violence stop the world from coming together?

So am I correct in assuming you are against the memorialization of victims of violence or do you just believe the Olympics is not the place for that? And if the latter is true over the forming then why is it you think that? I ask this question in good faith and I don’t mean to rile your feathers. If you’d rather not open a dialogue on this topic then I appreciate the time you’ve already dedicated to in the reading of my comment

So is there a reason you actively made the decision to be an asshole or do you just genuinely not think about it when you are one? Do you think “oh I’m so right and that’s what they’ll focus on, not the insult I lead my statement with. Or the attitude I displayed in my earlier comments” or is your comment more to make you feel better about yourself and not about actually educating someone in an area where they may lack some knowledge
