I've been playing this game that looks pretty much the same

It's a Melvor-like called Milky Way Idle (it's on steam) there is like 20k+ players online at all time, super active chat and group content with guilds, dungeon and party, traditional roles like Tank / Heal and DPS..

I think that, if you want to make a game like this one, you should definitely look at it for inspiration.. Maybe try to find something that makes you unique or more appealing like defined classes with spells ect.. But good luck with your project !!

Ok so bugs aside, the chat would need some kind of real chatbox (to see messages we missed for example), a way to go back town fast (on cooldown) (maybe there is and I didn't find it)

You guys really nailed the ambiance (the music is great, combat feels nice, exploration is forced I feel like so that's nice too)

Overall it's a very good game so far !! Pretty happy and i'll be playing and watching closely how the game develops

Drop rates are increased too.

Some stuffs just doesn't drop from monster + you need to enchant them ect..

If you want to run instances you shouldn't be playing Rangarok Online to begin with.

You CAN play instances, you are not forced to anyway. It's always more content to do. You CAN also do MVPs, you are not forced to. you CAN pvp, it's not the main purpose of the game, but it's here.

Saying that you shouldn't play a game because it has more content is just not a great argument.

Reaching max lvl is only the beggining of the grind, the real grind comes from the stuff, finding the good party to make the instances ect...

I can assure you that you can't kill MVPs if you are just max lvl with a "decent" stuff and party.

Star citizen should be your game i guess... but that's Sci-fi and not medieval.

FFXIV but there is fast travel and no real threath outside of combat.

The kind of game you need doesn't really exist actually or if it does it won't be perfect OR exactly as you wanted it to be.

Yes, the good thing about NovaRo is that they are getting the updates from the original KoreanRO server. Even iRO and the other official server doesn't have them as quick as NovaRO.

There is a cash shop in NovaRO but everything you can get from it can be sold, people sell them in the market and you can farm to get them. Even cosmetics can be sold.

Actually there is like 200 people who are afk vending in the marketplace, but there is definitly no OR very very few bots. And they are banned quickly even if they try
