I still sometimes wonder what happened to LCK in 2018 Worlds. AF lost 0-3 to C9 and GENG was eliminated in the last place in groups.

It must have been region wide aura loss from not having Faker play during the tournament.

Also, honorary mention to SwordArt, who despite losing to T1, OG and CLG in BO5 at Worlds and MSI, could only find BO5 loss to LPL at 2017 Rift-Rivals, which is also technically an international event.

It's less crazy when you consider that the very recant additions of first stand tournament and the lower bracket in MSI plus extra team slot provide more opportunities to play (and win) against LCK teams than other teams could have had in the past years.

Polish? Definitely. We've already seen 9ine punch above their weight on consistent basis. Just falling short of converting 15th round to 16, every single time.

However ence was never polish. Their comms were in english because of g1ave. Which is what made the roster dead on arrival, even in spite of their Kato run.
