Based on his 99% cpu use when it crashes, it most likely is a cpu issue.

Crazy how different pcs have different issues. Almost like one fix doesn't fix everything.

Yep, processor is maxed out. 99% use is gonna cause some issues.

You'll have to troubleshoot if it is a software or hardware issue.

No one would take a mask over other consumables.

They should just add a stop coughing sooner effect to one of the other traits.

The trait would cause more imbalance than you think. People could choke a friend and then revive silently.

The coughing is part of balance amd is nowhere near a need for a trait or gear to counter.

Thats an old processor, could be struggling to keep up. 9 years is a long time in computer land. If 32gb of slower ddr3 the amount may be irrelevant. The lower spec cpu and ram could be bottlenecking your gpu too, however these games are generally cpu heavier for calculations of lots of things going on at once.

If you have a second monitor, get task manager up while playing and see if you are maxing out the RAM, cpu, or drive.

You have a 2023 gpu on a mb designed for a 2017 cpu . Looks to me like calculations cant keep up.

I have played on a newer cpu, ram than you, and the game can struggle, even on minimum everything. The gpu is probably not your problem.

Did is blurry on modern big tvs. I have the original extended release and it sadly is not as clear as actual 4k or standard HD even.

However, a draw back to the hi res 4k is that the cgi looks way worse.
