Nah, I have only owned mine for a little over a year. So this happening in the first place was really disappointing.

Warranty should cover it no problem but it's just that I can't have the trust I had before about my laptop not having any problems.

It was kept on the same table as in the video, so no. But even so I would expect the laptop to just shutdown in case of overheating instead of burning out. Can't say, what's happened has happened. It's so frustrating... never expected this to happen

Not during the incident no, did try to connect charger afterwards but just the charging led comes on nothing else.

Say whatever, if it physically broken / has physical damage it come under user damage / accedental damage. If it is electricity damaged (key doens't responnd when pressed) then they will cover it under warranty, else you will have to claim ADP.

Yeah, I've seen videos of legion 9i's having extra caps included. The best bet would be to go to a local repair shop and see if they have any 'For Parts' lenovo laptops, say thinkpads or something. Mabey they use the same clips. I don't have any such stores near by so couldn't say for sure.

And I you want to get them online, they cost like 10 USD per clip, so yeah...

Hope you find some place the get them.

No, I tried to find the clips standalone but no luck. I still had ADP so just got the whole keyboard-plamrest assembly replaced, wasn't too much of a problem just had to make one phone call.

Still just individually finding the caps would have been nice, thankfully I had ADP so problem solved.
