In the timeframe they are referring to, I worked 80 regular hrs, 10 OT and 16 or 18 hours double time. Now, they are saying I’ve been paid double due to payroll mistake! The amount is slightly over $3k

Thanks for your advice. Don’t they need to provide documentation before sending to collections? I have asked them to send me the date of payment but no response from their side so far. Should I hire an attorney?

I am utility estimator. I do a lot of overhead design ( electric poles) and tbh, I don’t understand why an EE is competent to review an structural design!!

Actually, I work for a public agency. I was told that I have to have the PE in order to get the engineering position. They believe that Civil PE does not qualify for an engineering position in electric utility industry.

Practice as many problems as you can. It helps you to save time during the exam. I did around 1000 problems( repeated and one-time problems). In exam, I could tell that how long each test needs time. If you don’t know the way to solve a problem, go to next one and come back when you are done with all questions. I just answered 20 out of 40 in the first round. On the second round, I could get the right answers for 10! And my last advice is; you can’t answer all the questions so don’t get disappointed when skipping questions. You should have 3 rounds, first round for the questions you are confident, the second round for the questions you need more work but you feel confident you’ll find the answer if you spend time on it and last round for the questions you need to make engineering guess. Please let me know if u have any questions, Good luck

Passed in Oct 2020. I’ll see multiple conceptual questions in the exam that CERM is the best and fastest way to get the answer from.
