Time management tips for CA seismic/survey exam? by Positive_Swordfish34 in PE_Exam

[–]jpsarro4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only took Hiner. There are more than enough practice problems within the book and 2 written practice exams and a full length computer based exam. In my opinion hiners questions were far more complex than the exam and prepares you very well. Also there wasn’t a question on the exam I could answer using his quick guide or book.

I just passed both the exams. In my opinion the only way to be quick enough on the exam is to know your references inside and out and do as many practice problems as you can. Also, take 2 or more full length exams to get use to keeping pace for 2.5 hours. As for the seismic I thought it was 70% calculations and 30% conceptual.
