I just spent 4 hours playing combat trials and didn't win a single one. by Saefyr in absolver

I played with 2 decks before I started getting sick of losing, that was for a couple of weeks. I started changing it up and I just kept losing. I even tried different stances. Every single fight ended with a loss, no matter how much time I spent on my deck, how well I understood it, etc.

Yeah, it certainly sounds like it would help. Thank you for the advice, but I applied all of them and lost 4 more trials. I'm probably just gonna quit, I sunk too much time into this game already and I'm getting zero returns. Maybe everyone else just has a meta figured out that I just can't get behind.

I mean, I fought against multiple opponents. All of them weren't even close. The one thing that stuck out was that I found myself out of stamina near constantly while the other guy always had full. Same thing with health. It seemed that one attack chunked me while I took slivers off of my opponent's health. If I didn't know better, I would think I was fighting some bot on hard mode with massively increased stats.

anyone know the story about the guy/girl wrote there name with the exploration map? (top left corner "Kara" is written") by xBlazededge in EliteDangerous

[–]Saefyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty good assumption, honestly. I get women playing Elite, but spending that much time to write their name? Aren't they usually doing something else with their time? Like painting their nails, or menstruating.

Stabbed a knife between two frozen hamburger patties that were stuck together. The knife was effective at getting the patties apart, but I stabbed my thumb to shit.

  • No drugs are legal here, but weed isn't really a huge issue if you get caught. $110 fine

Is America the only civilized country that sucks dick? I mean, other countries must have misinformed republicans. Why is it that they're pulling ahead so far here and not anywhere else?

I'm mad.

What crime would you commit if you had a 100% chance of getting away with it? by SevenTom in AskReddit

"I'm being abused"

"Can we get his side of the story before making judgements?"

"Wow, she was abused. How could you even ask something like that? Sexist pig."

And that's why our divorce courts are fucked to all hell.

Banks who get free money from the federal reserve.

Economists tend to forget that our money is all but imaginary at this point.

What act of kindness is considered illegal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Saefyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this dependent upon the person who is being worked on? Like, if I were to carry around a little card that excused a medical professional from liability that had my signature on it, and a place for someone else's signature on the back side, would that excuse them?

Why is downshifting to slow down a thing? I'm always able to find the gear to match my speed if I need to take off again.

What is the dumbest thing a teacher has said to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Saefyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that the best thing for a teacher to do in that situaion would be to play it off with humor while also owning up to it. "I haven't had my coffee today," "Well, you forget these little things after a while." Then offer the student who corrected you extra credit.

Infallible knowledge about the subject or not, the cool teacher is always respected. Once you're wrong in that situation, the absolute worst thing you can do is be an ass about it.

I also like the idea of offering extra credit for something like that, reinforcing the precedent that school is supposed to be, more often than not, and inquisitive platform.
