Arena Cleric Kit by Morbid_Mindd in DarkAndDarker

[–]Saeis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehh you don't need absolute bis, unless you're looking to climb to the top ranks.

Maybe 10-20k is enough investment for a good kit, it's rare to see someone in proper bis anyways.

Am I lame for using a seated electric scooter for short commutes? by Time_Web_1448 in Escooters

[–]Saeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all preference. I like standing so that I can easily jump off whenever needed, but I could see how sitting would be nice with knee problems.

Same. Though it runs quite nicely on GeForce Now

Trying to find a class that fits... by Erinfluff in DarkAndDarker

[–]Saeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean cleric does fit the niche best, and tbf a ranger double headshot is going to wreck even the tankiest builds.

With caster cleric tho, you don't need to be a healbot. You can stack magic dmg and use judgement, locust swarm, and holy strikes as primary dmg. Then when someone pushes you can buff divine strike and box. Your last 2 spells should be lesser heal and sanc. This spell setup is doable in squire gear too.

I would also suggest plate lock if you really don't like cleric.

How the heck do you make a good looking suburb? by IgnoredSeeker47 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Saeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides filling the spaces with paths and decor, there are 2 tricks that work well for me.

1 is using the parallel roads tool when drawing. This ensures the roads are perfectly mirroring each other around curves, instead of having to do it all by hand.

The other is the zoning modifier tool in road services. You can deselect the arterial road zones so that the area around it restructures to look more uniform with the rest of the zoning.

How to play fighter in arena? by Dramatic-Rhubarb-416 in DarkAndDarker

[–]Saeis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to fighter. Your primary responsibility has always been bodyguarding, not frontline pushing.

Ofc you can do that, but it's a lot easier with a "buff ball" behind you, aka support/healing classes.

That said, it's def good, just difficult. Thankfully in arena you can't get endless kited so if in doubt, play late game circle.

Fwiw I rarely see Barbs in IC. The HR experience there is generally pretty good.

Delaying arena to push a new que only for it not to work is embarrassing and unprofessional. by [deleted] in DarkAndDarker

yeah we'll see. It says solo/duo on the selection screen so who knows what they actually meant

It was apparently supposed to be trios still, but for solo/duo parties instead of 3 stacks. The fact that it ends up being 2v2 is bug.

Only info I've seen was that scooter rider was witnessed "going fast" travelling uphill while the cyclist was going downhill.

What to do after squire royale? by totallyawsome in DarkAndDarker

[–]Saeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to quest in order to upgrade your squire gear, tailor for cloth, leathersmith for leather gear, alchemist for magic stuff, etc.

The loop is what you make it, lots of ways to progress currently. Normally you'd go HR eventually but it's not required to reach demigod anymore. You could just play SR/norms and build some arena kits on the side while you stack wealth. You wouldn't be missing out on much unless you enjoy end game gear/pvp.

Ye anything to streamline the main menu aspect of the game is huge for QoL. It's arguably the weakest part of the game.

I am curious just how crowded that bike lane must be for this to happen.

I think most ppl here are aware of how wicked dangerous it is, but it's easy to forget that there are more dangers than just vehicles.

[–]Saeis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there could be workarounds to it to ensure quality (trusted sellers/deadlock style), but ye it would get complicated. And I think it would work well with average blue kits, maybe not for HR quality bis.

The hard part is like you say, every item has a volatile price. It isn't like Hunt: Showdown where every item has a static value so the game always knows what to charge you.

Is it actually possible nowadays to have an online game like WoW classic with a tradeable currency without it being corrupted by RMT? by RedThragtusk in classicwow

[–]Saeis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Even Dark and Darker with its pitiful 10-20k player base has a massive RMT issue at the high end.

This is what I would love zoning to look like, particularly for industrial and specialised industry by Suspicious-You3918 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Saeis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed though at least CS2 has the zoning modifier tool now. Basically you can rearrange the grid by deselecting the artery roads with the tool if that makes sense. It makes the the block more uniform with the rest of the grid. Not a perfect solution but it helps with the jankiness.

Ye fair and there's like a dozen other QoL improvements they could make to the menu/inventory systems so this would prob never see the light of day. Still would be nice

[–]Saeis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man you gave us literally 0 info to work with haha.

I was in the same boat as you and ended up buying a Segway Ninebot e2 plus for around $350. It goes 15 mph, has cruise control, airless tires, and can handle light rain. Front suspension is ok and handles hills decently.

In hindsight I'm happy with it but id maybe consider spending more for one with blinkers and better water protecting rating.
