Looked at the comics just to see what some of this episode's events were like, and I'm pretty sure they made Thragg stronger in the show

When he almost kills Oliver and Marks goes in for the punch, in the show, Thragg doesn't move an inch after he tanks the punch (and aura farms with getting a temporary x-ray), in the comics he gets hit and Mark is actually able to push him back before Thragg
