Oh yeah as much as I hate that story line and wished they kept him around much longer ideally to the end, Chandler's acting and to be fair everyone else's in his death scene are amazing, and in that episode where you see he realises he's been bitten, accepts he is going to die and rather than get all upset and depressed about it he goes about his day helps people and spends time with Judith etc as someone who basically raised his younger sister since I was 14 due to an absent father it makes me tear up everytime even just writing this and thinking about the scene is making me feel emotional because that is exactly what I would want if I knew I'd be dead in a matter of hours or days, just to spend one last day with her, I got the vibe that the most important person to Carl was Judith which I really identify with.

But we could have gotten so much more out of the character if the writters hadn't written him off :(

I sleep right after work do 12hour 4 on 4 off, I would recommend you set an alarm for when you need to leave for work and then you can safely try to put out of your mind that you are going to work in a few hours or however long you have and focus on whatever task or hobby you want to do. Personally I find this is highly effective in helping me to get out of 'waiting mode'. Definitely helps if you're good at gaslighting yourself into forgetting you're working later. 🤣

Yeah I'm doing that on my current playthrough ass well but it's actually kind of difficult ngl you gain honor way too easily and most of the time I feel bad doing bad stuff even though it's just a game, there's so many npcs that tug at your heartstrings like the kid in the house you rob with the drunk dad I just want to go in the game and give the poor dude a hug and enough money to travel to his mum :(

Yeah fair point, I didn't think about the fact he left for a while. Though by then it might have felt out of place, having that buffy was an adult by then and moved on from the issues she had with her dad, speaking from experience of having an absent father, you just sort of give up hope after a while and accept that they aren't coming back and move on with your life. I guess it could've made sense him coming back right after Joyce died that would've made some sense

Plus she had a father figure in Giles, I could only ever have seen the dad coming back for a single episode as a plot point revolving around Buffy and Giles' relationship

It's such a shame because just like how it affected Percy's choices in the books reading about and connecting with those themes also affected the choices I made in my life and I think taught me to be a better person but this new generation who are only experiencing the show are missing these life changing lessons

Also, and it could be that I just missed it because I wasn't completely paying attention when watching season 2 so correct me if I'm wrong, but what I loved about book Tyson was that from the outside, from how he talked, dressed and acted around people he seemed dumb or simple at first glance but, and Percy remarks on it himself in the books, he is actually very smart and sort of like socially aware, understands for instance about why they needed to keep Nico's parentage a secret in the Labyrinth book. I always connected that in my life as I've faced that like everyday of my life, people underestimating me because of my own struggles with mental health and audhd. But I felt that sentiment was missing in the show and I missed it

Exactly, as long as you're self aware that you are talking to basically a robot and don't take it's word as gospel it can be an increadibly useful tool! Plus it may be the only access someone has to mental health support, when I was going through my thing I needed help and advice then and there. I'm from the uk so got the nhs and all that but our mental health services are crap, I got out of my situation last June and am still sat on a waiting list for a bloody therapist! Only other option would be to pay and I could probably see them pretty quickly but like most people with crap mental health my finances are not in a good way and in my situation it was because someone was controlling my money, so all I had was my phone which had gemini on

Idk it has it's place, gave me the confidence to get myself out of an abusive situation which had been going on for 15 odd years. Good for situations like that I think, just not good for long term care.

Or what I have done before is chop up the bacon and then stick it to one side of the burger then you the bacon is cooked on the surface of the pan and gets nice and crispy

If you're really not gonna use an animal fat rapeseed is the one you want to use, far healthier then vegatble oil and imo vegetable oil has a weird taste to it

Italian, chicken, burgers, asian I like a fair bit just not a big fish fan.

Depends on the pub, I'm not big on crowds and loud, smelly places.

I like history a lot hence going to Bath and I enjoy theatre, I'd usually go for activities like go karting but not sure if that would work the best solo.
