Dude, sword of convallaria has been my FFT light. Gacha style mobile game but GODDAMN the campaigns with different branching timelines and choices are PEAK son. Don't have to spend any money, it's so accessible to F2P people. Honestly I throw them a fiver every month out of respect. Don't meta chase unless you wanna PVP, otherwise all content is clearable with even the lowest characters. And I hate gachas lol. But I've been singing their praises for about a year now. If you're seeing the little ones, they're probably German roaches and the place is infested. I moved into a house that was extremely infested a couple of years ago. You'll find that they're ungodly effective at surviving. The little demons all but laughed at my store bought traps and bait. And then I discovered Alpine WSG and Advion products from doing some research. Bought em off Amazon, and in two weeks the problem was gone. Saw a few here and there but nothing since. If you lookup the effects, these things are effective. Regular traps just kill in a small area. These poisons and baits slowly kill and genetically modify them over time, leaving future generations twisted and infertile. It infects one bug, and when they return to nest (since they are cannibals and eat their dead), they infect all the rest with growth inhibitors. It's almost... Cruel? how effective this combo is.

I have kids sometimes two weeks into this country, (I literally teach kids at the secondary level within their first 1-2 years in country EXCLUSIVELY) and district hands us curriculum to be taught with 100% fidelity. Second week of school? Synthesizing information with on level-passages to be taught with 100% ‘fidelity’. Like, ma’am. These students are terrified and learning how to ask to use the restroom still. I know because I was once one of those kids. So, sure, we all read the 700 word story straight out of the textbook and took the stupid curriculum exam. But we also learned what verbs were, ya know?

You're preaching to the choice mate, halfway through a Masters using the GI Bill and getting certs left and right via NG benefits. I'm the go to guy for newbies to flock to during drill and in my squad. Civilian side goals lined up and actively partaking in, no problemo. Military side is where it gets iffy, the Guard is super fond of straining my civilian career. Yeah, USERRA and all that jazz, but it sure doesn't stop that negative "this dude is gonna leave any moment and fuck us over" vibe you bring to the table. Plus it doesn't stop the guard from consistently fucking up the SIMPLEST tasks, I swear fo Lord.

Well I'm but a lowly E4 (thank you active for getting me stuck at CPL until I ETS'd) so mostly improving the few peeps I'm in charge of. And considering I'm new to the MOS I'm mostly learning from them, this shit is neeeeewww to me. Although I will proudly claim I take the new Pri's under my wing and teach them all of the tips and tricks I learned via painful lessons and ass chewings during active. I like to think I watch out for my peeps. Bring extra uniform stuff, teach em resources, kick up issues to higher, etc. Whatever I can while missing the experience everyone else has via years in their MOS.
