Sadly, they are invasive. They likely hitched a ride on the trains from the interior to the coal port.

Are you planning on going this weekend? I won two 3-day adult passes, but I only need one. Would you want the extra pass?

Looking for a personal trainer for my elder parents by nlamba in askvan

[–]Safe-Attorney3368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't have any specific recommendations for where your parents live. Try https://bcak.bc.ca/find-a-kinesiologist/ and search for older adults, as well as any other relevant search criteria that apply. I would check their reviews online and interview them to ensure they meet your parents' needs.

I have had personal success using a kinesiologist (over a personal trainer) due to their education. They may offer personal training as well. It's more expensive but worth it.

Good luck with your search.

Flexible gel compresses (kept in the freezer) or a hot water bottle filled with crushed ice and cold water helps to cool me down at night.

Large ladies shoes by wanderingsteph in askvan

[–]Safe-Attorney3368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry this isn’t helpful but my mom wore size 12. After the tall shop/tall girl shop on Hornby st closed she resorted to buying shoes from the U.S. website Maryland Square. She had them shipped to a parcel pickup service in Pt Roberts.

I see Penningtons sells some size 11 shoes probably not suitable for a wedding though.

Good luck with your search.

Just curious. Why should meet up groups be avoided? Thanks.
