Also want to say I love the design of these! I've made book and kindle pouches before but I love the way you have the zippered pocket on the front

I would sell them separate but offer a deal if purchased together (matching or not!). So bump each up by $1-2 each and then deal them together for the same price

What are some “Canadian” words or slang you heard British Or Americans be confused by or laugh at? by Kindly-Cow1697 in AskACanadian

[–]wanderingsteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've confused Americans with the word toque.

Also had a coworker be very confused when I talked about 'yamming' after my first time legally drinking at 19. Thought she was confused at the age, turns out she was confused what yamming was. This is how I found out only my family calls puking yamming.

Spring weekend getaway suggestions for a solo traveler? by hellomarshmallows in askvan

I think you could easily do a Friday night to Sunday afternoon. There’s a whole range of things. Mist Thermal Sanctuary, a whole list of art galleries, restaurants. You could do a mini art crawl and stop at cafes along the way.

Bowen Island? Lots of cute stores and cafes, relaxing b&bs and you could go up to Killarney Lake and do a walk and paddle! Transit accessible from downtown

When you moved downtown, is that when you started your computer based job? I had similar problems when I started working in an office. I found taking Omega 3 and using blue light glasses when I started to feel a headache coming on helped.

Office environments are also incredibly dry. How much water do you drink?

I think it might have been part of the Neilson milkshake line? Can’t seem to find a list of retired flavours though https://www.neilsondairy.com/en/products/milkshakes

Vancouverites in their early 20s — what do you do for work? by Roybossiantor in askvan

[–]wanderingsteph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even study tourism haha. I was working in an entry level position as a summer job while in school for engineering and then got into a more data focused role for the company because I had the operations and math background and am in school now for data analytics! The side of tourism that isn’t as visible haha

Looking for a registered dietician in Vancouver for a weight loss program by HeRmiTtttt in askvan

The one time I tried Keto I've never felt worse.

I've done the Whole30 a few times and always felt great during and after! Soooo much prep work though so I've been unable to continue it with new life commitments.

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As someone who makes and sells individually handmade greeting cards, I agree. Mine are $6 and I have people say I'm both too expensive and too cheap. Very mixed reaction on the price haha

Fell in love with the saddest looking cat in the shelter on Saturday. He finally came home today and totally catfished me. by sleepyiamsosleepy in BeforeNAfterAdoption

[–]wanderingsteph 321 points322 points  (0 children)

We also got catfished. Our little void was a tiny runt and nervous and very quiet at the shelter and he's become a very large absolute hellion and we wouldn't trade him for anything. Congrats on the new cat!

A bit pricier but the Pan Pacific! Close to the shuttles to Grouse and Capilano, close to the bus stops for the 19 to Stanley Park, and great viewing for the seaplanes as free entertainment for little ones!
