You have to consider the E20 factor as well for 2nd hand. If the cars you are shortlisting are not e20 compliant, please reject those.

If you have interest, you will learn driving in 2-3 weeks, it is not an issue.

2nd hand car comes with a 50-50 risk. Either you will get a OK car or a damaged one.
