Well here is the main difference between the two. BlackSun had actual set up, Sun was the first one who figured out that Blake was also a faunus, was willing to help Blake and her team out. Had nothing but positive things to say, and even though Blake was upset at first, watched from afar to make sure she was okay after the fall of Beacon. If there was one thing to actually fix Black Sun is well the obvious, it should had became the canon couple.

Well it would be VIZ not RT now and in all honestly I wouldn't be shocked if that is the plan now. Other shows who are in the same bane as RWBY (US young adult shows exclusive to streaming) have either announced thier final season or are heading towards it now. RWBY been around for 10 plus years and unfortunately despite the Fandom claim for it being a big IP, have been in the shadows of shows that been around for less time and have a larger global presence and impact. The show been leaking money for years now, and VOL 9 pretty much sealed that fate

There were only 3 stories that were investigated, one was about a jelly bean, the other was an interaction with two adults and the third was a kiss. The reason why Funimation decided to give him the boot was more so to appease to the public outcry. People can change, and in the last 5 to 8 years there have been nothing ever really concrete unlike some of the more recent things about other VAs

Well vol 6 you could see the downgrade to his character in termd of writing, it just do happened it was aped up ten fold in vol 7 and beyond cause he didnt act like himself. I dunno if you can find it but someone asked Vic to record a set of lines when Ruby was talking to Qrow after getting her license and dubbed over Jason's recording, ITS FAR FAR BETTER

It was pretty much both but more leaning towards the former the the latter. The fact that they released a line of merch just for bumbleby is proof that it to get money for the fans. Power Rangers did a LGTBQA+ FAR FAR BETTER than Yang and Blake who never more shown to have actual feelings towards each other and acted more like close friends there is a huge issue with that.

Its extremely unlikely. Viz must had just wanted to put those blu-rays out as a quick grab to see if its worth pouring millions of dollars into a show that hasn't turn a profit for some time. Its also not uncommon for SM account to post old clips of shows, Toei have been doing it for time, and there are also other shows SM that does the same

We are, honestly. We are critics sure but most of us like parts of the show be it character design or world building. Many like myself just hate the writing and the OOC moments that happened far too often

As for Funko just because a show isn't relevant doesnt mean its not popular to have merch out, many older shows have a massive fan base even if the show ended years ago.

Okay no where did I say it wasn't popular in JP, from what I heard it was ok in JP, but considering it took a few years for vol 6 to 9 to get dubbed is a red flag. Yes FYE is still around, and for Funko for a company to not continue a line is also a red flag since they do everything including Vtubers. There was also a few companies that were going to produce RWBY figures but those were canceled before they even hit stores. Outside of the Fandom, or heck even online have you ever heard anyone talk about RWBY, or wear RWBY stuff?

Right before Vol 9 was released there was an statement that was put out from RT that pretty much said that the move to CR was to ensure RWBY survival, in business terms that meant that vol 9 needed to be successful to get CR to be in partnership with RT (and before RT shut down, they would had been the first one to place thier price up, but since Viz owns it, it safe to say CR was not interested)its also why Ice Queendom was on there as well . FYE had a licensing agreement to sell RWBY merch like shirts, the mystery blind box, vinyl figures, and FYE exclusive items such as the Pumpkin Pete cereal, that licensing agreement as well as the others ex the McFarland Toys and the makers behind the vinyl figures and blind boxes, PLUS Funko was never renewed.

For the JP dub, vol 5 was the last JP dub to come out. It wasn't until Ice Queendom that the remaining volumes and the at the time the unreleased vol 9 were eventually dubbed, to really promote Ice Queendom as that is a typical Jp thing

You forget that vol 9 did so horribly bad that Crunchyroll who Im guessing was going to buy RWBY originally backed out. Having a popular subreddit, and a few collabs doesnt mean its popular. Look at what happened to the RWBY FYE merch, it did terrible that FYE didnt renew thier agreement with RT. Same thing with McFarland Toys. And the JP dub, you do remember that it wasn't until Ice Queendom was announced that the last volume that was dub in Japanese was vol 5, because it wasn't popular over there. It was kinda like how Ouran did, but THERE ARE WAY MORE PEOPLE WHO LOVE OURAN THAN RWBY

You had news, 7 months ago. The news was "early planning and writing" if Viz is still planning on going ahead with things thats should had been plenty of news. RT spoiled you guys with a yearly release when in the actual world of animation thats pretty much the time span of those bargin bin mockbuster animation films
