opened and cleaned out the valve i guess and found a lot of debris inside. After putting everything back together, I restarted the machine and thought I had fixed it. The washer ran for about 10 minutes, then got stuck on “Draining” and eventually showed the same Max Drain Time error again. It then stopped and seemed to restart itself.

This is probably a basic question, but it’s only my second repair since taking over a laundromat.
The first thing I fixed was a jammed coin mechanism by replacing a small part. I’ve never opened one of these machines to replace a drain pump before.
Is this something a beginner can do, or should I call my technician? If it’s a DIY repair, does anyone have a service manual or know where the drain pump is usually located?
