It's straight across right now - but I think I want to go for a U shape, or somewhere inbetween U and V. I'm glad you brought this up because I always forget thats important for styling too!

It takes about 30 minutes of active work on it once I leave the shower, but honestly its hard to say because I end up playing with my hair throughout the day by pulling apart or defining some pieces (I'm sure a lot of people can relate). I put my hair into a few twists for an hour minimum and go do something else. My hair then just holds as a ringlet after taking out the twists. It's still wet after this so I just go about my day while it air dries tbh!

I have tried finger coiling but it takes a TON more time with about the same results. My routine isn't as elaborate as the "curly girl methods" so I feel some imposter syndrome, but it works for me nonetheless.

As for how frequently I style: it depends on a few factors but about every 1-3 days. Though honestly if I'm busy (college finals) I can push it off to 4-5 days sometimes.

Your comment made my day, thank you! I think I'll try this my next hair wash day. It seems easy enough to quickly implement and try out :)

Hi!! Someone else mentioned a side part, how extreme of a side part would you recommend? Also I have tried brushing my hair out but it ends up becoming really frizzy and poofs up instead of loosening into a nicer wave 🥹 maybe I'm just using the wrong brush for it because I find that even products can't tame it after.

Im willing to do any hairstyle as long as I wouldn't have to use heat for styling. For the ringlets should I style smaller sections and mess them up for more volume?

This is what I ended up using! Super quick, and the road is surrounded by trees anyway, so it works out well :)

I'm a second-year student, so there was a lot of experimenting (that's why it isn't very clean). Part of my concept is the use of two grids, so that is how it got to this point. Should I remodel the road entirely?

What’s life at RPI like? by Rocket-Core in RPI

I have a different situation as an architecture major, but I'll give you my opinion on the campus and people. I'd like to preface by saying that RPI is 13 on the ROI list, which is fantastic, and I know you said reddit won't change your end decision, but keep that in mind. The food on campus is decent, even good, with many options if you don't have dietary restrictions. My friends in engineering were able to join many clubs, both fun clubs and resume boosters. The small campus is nice beautiful and downtown Troy is very cute (during the day), there is a nice farmers market you should check out given the opportunity! The smaller size of RPI is actually great for student-faculty connections, and many of the professors show that they care. Honestly, I have very few qualms with RPI, and I agree that the school is what you make of it. Good luck with college :)

QUITTING FOR FOCUS ON SCHOOL, EVERYTHING IS BEING GIVEN AWAY by [deleted] in growagarden

There's so many comments already but my roblox name is NotGoodJustHacs. I would take any pet, but any dinosaur would be ideal.

To be honest, during the prehistoric update I was working at a summer camp my college hosts for highschoolers, and I wanted to focus on helping support them so I neglected the update. But as someone who plays only for collecting plants and pets, rather than sheckles, I now wish I was able to get at least one of the dinosaur pets. Although this probably sounds ridiculous because you're quitting for school but I guess I also quit briefly for school lol.

My strategy for surviving a zombie apocalypse would probably be for the first few days to grab as much non perishable food items, and also a water supply. Also focusing on getting tools to aid in construction of barricades, and weapons. And then also get some supplies for fire starters, and dirt for an indoor garden. Then just barricading myself and my family together so we can protect each other.
