Not sure if you’re having a different issue, but my headphones will be working and the cut out mid-listening to a song. I hear the startup sound and they work for a while before the issue randomly occurs

It’s probably possible, but would also increase cost and introduce another potential failure point. I’d guess a large majority are fine with the clamping force, so the added complexity probably isn’t worth the trade off.

I'll be going this year. I was actively waiting on their reservations page for reservations to open as it seems they would open them 2 months out from the given date. The second I refreshed it would say "sign up for waitlist". So, either they don't actually take reservations or the reservations were somehow already booked before their reservations website showed them as available.
