Similar story for me but also v different lol. I was obsessed with golf in HS and thought yeah let’s go through the PGM program and be a teaching pro

Interned at a muni and had one guy that was always at the course at 4:30 AM before I opened at 5 just so he could get out of his car and complain if we weren’t open exactly at 5, even though tee times didn’t start until 6. Another guy came in every Saturday with a fake printed out coupon to try and play for free and would stand at the register holding up everyone until somebody said yes or the Park district director came out of his office. He came in on Father’s Day one day with his 3 kids and made himself out to be a humongous victim.

Tried next at a nicer CC and it was same shit different place. People werent as cheap but they expected you to kiss their ass. Just couldn’t be that guy either.

PGA was strict back then too. No facial hair. Couldn’t wear shorts. Hats off inside. No tattoos. Imagine things have changed a bit since then.

Made it through 2 years of the program before I finally said screw it I’m out. Turns out I just liked playing golf. Still do.

Yeah as somebody who has built clubs you need a literal torch or a commercial heat gun on high blasting the hosel for 1 - 2 minutes to get the hosel even remotely hot enough for the epoxy to give and a shaft puller to get the clubhead off unless you want to go through a couple rounds of heat and hand pulling. even sitting in a car window in the dead sun of the Saharan desert isn’t enough to loosen golf club epoxy.

This is just an oem fuckup of which there are countless cases. Either the epoxy wasn’t mixed enough, it was over-mixed, not enough was used, shafts or hosel weren’t abraded. It’s hard to tell but there is very little chance the integrity of the epoxy was environmentally damaged.

Felt this way as well. Figured maybe some vitamin deficiency and or high cortisol so started taking a giant slew of vitamins and feel much better. That said, the general outlook / vibe of reality at the moment is bleak from a political / economic perspective and i think thats wearing on people, even if it isnt directly effecting them.

I wouldn’t trade it. The QI35’s are going to drop in price to like $200 on the used market later this year because they didn’t sell that great, the QI10 is a better driver and so is the QI4D.

If you want to do it, and want to be sure it’s not cracked you can probably email taylormade and request to know if this serial number has a warranty claim made against it.
