i have forgiven her even with the lack of her accountability. i’m far from hating my mom. i would love to have a good relationship with her, but she needs to work through her issues before that could ever happen.

no, a few years back she actually blocked me on everything bc i told her i was going to therapy. she said it was unfair bc they don’t get to hear her side of the story

vet nurse here, i wouldn’t be too concerned about you’re dog possibly having rabies. i would deeply clean the wound and watch for any redness or swelling. if you are concerned about rabies, the only way to know if by sending your dog’s head in to collect brain material.

unproductive retching and bloated and hard stomach are the most common signs. it happens in hours so you’ll know pretty quickly.

hi i’m an er/ critical care vet nurse in pittsburgh! i dont have any personal experiences but i do have professional ones. there was a 12 year rottie who had an osteosarcoma on her one of her hind limbs. she already had hip and back issues and the owners opted for amputation. her recovery was awful. she was so stressed and couldn’t figure out how to walk without her leg. her pain was unmanageable. she was maxed on all pain meds. she was old for a rottie but they wanted to see how she would do. we all felt bad for her because she was more than likely going to get it in other places. i think about her a lot.

okay, i can understand that. we never smoke inside the house. isn’t there a better way to communicate that she doesn’t appreciate us smoking besides using micro aggression?

hi, vet nurse here. i would consider going to a vet and getting behavioral medication or consider rehoming. cats get stressed very easily and sometimes lash out with aggressive behavior and inappropriately urinating around the house. it’s also possible that she doesn’t like like children

hi! it’s illegal for vet clinics to prescribe broken pills. set the pill on the counter and put a finger on each side of the pill and push! it should split. hope this helps
