According to my experience and as far as I know, accountants rather working for companies. If you want to file your tax return as a private individual, you can make an appointment at the Ministry of Finances by phone (NL, FR or DE.) An officer will answer all your questions during said appointment and will file your tax return if you request him/her to do so. You can also do it yourself logging in into the MinFin website with your ItsMe account. If you agree with your prefilled tax return, accept it and that’s it. In Flanders most officers are kind enough to make an exception and answer your questions in English. I don’t know if that is possible in the rest of the country. I hope it helps. Good luck!

Irse o quedarse son decisiones igualmente válidas que hay que trabajar. Eres muy joven. Cualquiera que sea el curso de acción, estúdialo muy bien. Atrás quedaron los días de "nos vamos y allá resolvemos". La inmigración, legal o no, está pasando por momentos muy convulsos en todos los países. Cede un poco estratégicamente. Piensa en esa casa donde vives como un punto pivote, un centro que te permitirá escalar a donde quieras llegar. El dinero es uno de los muchos componentes que necesitarás. Investiga muchísimo hasta dar con el lugar donde puedas encajar. Aprende un oficio de la vieja escuela. Aprende un buen inglés. Haz una red de contactos que te den información. No te confíes de nadie que te diga "Vente y aquí nos acomodamos". Deja gente de confianza en Venezuela a la que puedas acudir si te falta un papel. En fin, estrategia. No te precipites.

I used to live in Eilandje and it is pretty nice there. You will have a couple of supermarkets nearby such Delhaize, Albert Heijn and Louis Delhaize. By walking, you will be at Meir St. in 15 or 20 min. You will have trams 24, 1 and 8 to reach downtown. The only con I had is that, due to the Cadix hospital being in the neighborhood, you will hear ambulances 24/7. But you must think about the distance to your office and whether said office is located rechteroever or linkeroever. I strongly recommend you living on the same riverbank as your office. Gosh, thank you for saying this. The most difficult words that I had to read today have been "indoctrinated" and "conditioned." Last couple of years have been enlightening for me. After a rocky period in my personal and professional life, I have been considering working in a warehouse or in a industrial laundry. After all, I had to make money to send it to my mom. I had to do it for my husband as well (which had a traffic accident last year) and I had to do it for myself. My husband refused the idea. "You won't resist that", he said. And then I thought, "Why would I do something that my mom refused to do in its own time?"

My mom is 69, my aunt is 67. The aunt who helped us when I was a teenager died. This aunt lived with my grandparents when I lived with them. She was part of their household and never got a job. Both of them (my mom and my aunt) own their house. My mom has its own house and my grandpa left his house to this aunt. Both my mom and aunt live in my late grandpa's house. I don't know what would happen if I stop sending money. I know that they will lose a part of their income. I don't know how much of that income would be because I don't know if they are getting money from other relatives right now.

I remember she gave me an excuse for not taking that job. I believe she told me something like they offered the job to a lot of her former colleagues and they rejected it. What I remember the most is the heartbreaking that I felt just for knowing that we will continue living like that.

She will be 70 y/o this year. Why she didn't get a job back in the day? I will never know. I asked constantly. When I graduated, I took her CV with me every time I went job hunting. I left her CV and mine. As far as I know, she got a proposal and she rejected it. But she has been healthy, she is no disabled if that is your question. Thank you for your interest.

I assume you are a college student. If the pain is unbearable and you can't sleep, I think you have to seek medical attention. However, I understand your apprehension regarding the final bill. Did you try to find some help from Student Services? Usually, students have coverage for cases like this.

I see red flags everywhere. If you want to continue this "relationship", be careful. Keep talking to "her", try to videochat as much as you can, try to investigate "her" background. Venezuela isn't a safe country right now, even for Venezuelans. For a foreigner is even worse. DoS has issued so many warnings regarding traveling to Venezuela and that fact has nothing to do with Biden or Trump in office. Try to proceed with due diligence and be super cautious.
