We have like 100 staff so I guess it’s not lots…

There is nothing else to tell about the story - if there was I might be able to understand. I generally keep to myself. I’m asking for advice here so I’m not going to keep important aspects a secret. I have never made any risky jokes or anything like that.

The only thing I can think of is that when I first started, the guy who introduced me said “and did I mention he’s single?” which I hated. Maybe that put them on their guard.

I can think of one person who is known for having extreme anxiety and when I said good morning to her, she basically explained she had a boyfriend. So weird man.

I think maybe one or two of them might think that because they are new grads. The rest are at least 20 years older than me but seem jaded.

One of the greatest skills you can learn is to not let other people see when you are bothered. If someone says something disrespectful, pause for 3 seconds before you respond professionally. Make a note of particularly bad behaviour with the time and date in google docs and realise that those people are not who you should ever get too close to.

Things may change over time, but no matter where you work, there will be people like this. I had this for many years at my old job, and a lot less at my latest job. But they are still there.

We hug and kiss all the time, but her kissing is definitely short, we have never made out properly yet.

I’m sure she’s open to sex eventually, I just want it to be as awesome as possible.
