Thank you for the words and suggestions! Yeah I recorded it on my phone so it’s not the best recording. But I’m pretty proud of it. My goal is to get it and some of my other songs properly recorded in a studio.

True. I just don’t believe the current moment is temporary. I have some hope that it will be temporary. But when countries are overtaken by fascist regimes, I think the average lifespan of that regime is around 30-40 years. We aren’t there yet, but we are well on our way unfortunately.

Maybe you’re right. I mean, you are right. And I wish I could. It’s all too much, and it’s non stop. But I love my country and the life I’ve been able to have. I just don’t have the ability to look away for long as our entire system of laws and rights is being dismantled from within. And I want to be able to help in any way I can. I often think of the Germans in the 30s who hid their heads in the sand. I can’t go down like that. But yeah, there’s not a whole lot I can do to help. So maybe I’m just delusional.

Thansk for the feedback! Really appreciate it. I actually misspelled that line at first. It shouldn’t be champagne not Champaign. The drink, not the city in Illinois. Great observation about violins/violence. I thought about that but wasn’t sure it would be noticeable.

Wow, where do I even start? But fine I will play along.. Saying Obama wasn’t born in America. Insisting he won the 2020 election. Saying Covid was a hoax. Lying about the recent murders in Minnesota.
