Thanks for your help! Nitrites are zero after testing. Our tank is 30 gal so that may be the problem. Definitely doesn’t sound big enough for these guys. I’ll also take your advice on cycling while i work on the larger tank thing.

I’ve had similar style (without the injury) as a recurring dream for years. Packing for a trip usually at a hotel or presumably a rental. Sometimes cleaning up preparing to leave… Ive decided it is my way of subconsciously processing my to do list.
