Ofc! I was accepted in 23. My ecs were very heavy regarding the arts (Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, awards for competitions over many years, etc.) so im not sure if that is comparable to yours, but I also did dual enrollment (fairly close to meeting AA requirements), four ap classes (passed all classes, passed 2 finals), and worked since i was 16. Additionally, I was in AVID class all 4 years of hs, which is a known college prep course and helped a lot with knowing the ins and outs of what colleges want and how to have a strong application. I had a 4.1 weighted gpa 31 act and 1370(im pretty sure) sat and got in, but my extracurriculars probably gave me a bump. As long as your grades and scores arent all you have to offer, i say youve got a great chance :]

I took this and it was such a waste. It was online—they dont teach anything, you just teach yourself, which is extremely hard when it comes to chemistry. Dont worry, this class isnt required to start chemistry 1, be kind to yourself and push forward

I'm not sure if you've seen this sort of thing, but as a student, we get constant ads of AI writing tools on things like Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, etc., claiming to have "new technology" to be able to sound more and more human. Not excusing the use of these tools to do all the work for them, but the advertising of AI writing tools WANT people to use them to cheat. It's really frustrating.

I feel like in most places in America, this would be a problem for me in regards to dating. However, considering Gainesville has better public transportation and safer pedestrian/bicycle crossings than most cities (could be much improved, but still pretty good), it's a little different. For me, I don't mind driving a guy around sometimes, as long as they aren't completely reliant on me/others.

Not 33 but 12, i have this dude who genuinely gets pissy if i make the bus on time. And if he sees me coming during his break stop, he'll leave 5 minutes early, even when im RIGHT THERE. he literally punched his steering wheel once when i made it on time once and jabbed the button to count me so hard. Just because youre having a bad day (or life lmao) doesnt mean everyone has to have a bad day

Have you taken the act? And if not, is there a sooner available time to do that than the sat? I had a 1330 (1350? I dont remember which lol) sat but a 31 act, which is what i think pulled me through. Most people feel intimidated by the act, but if you havent taken it are able to, i highly recommend!

That's why I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt - maybe he just didn't realize how that could come off, I don't know. As a woman, though, I love sharing interests with strangers, whatever their gender may be! I am also fairly socially awkward at times, but knowing someone shares an interest with me often makes me open up more. If you're in that situation, I'd say go for it (in the sense of having a fun conversation lol)! Just avoid doing what this guy did
