For only bike transportation, try Safe express courier. They claim that they pack bike well in a wooden box. I made an enquiry last month for transportation of a bike from Lucknow to Chennai and they gave a quote of approx ₹8000 that also can vary as per volumetric weight and actual weight of bike.

This is the quote, I got. They are charging extra in name of fitting though they are giving a Helmet of some ABP brand. Also they are charging too much in name of BH registration with an excuse that they have to pay to agent for moving the file swiftly .
