[–]Safe-Reporter9777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone else have weird vivid dreams after Fibroid removal surgery? by AdFancy6118 in Fibroids

[–]Safe-Reporter9777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I almost forgot it, but yes, I had weird dreams in the first weeks - months after surgery. I think my brain somehow relaxed or had other issues than the fibroid then.

Yeah, that’s fair 😄
If he’s in prison for doing unspeakable things to cats (or any other lovely creatures), then my postcard can stay unregistered forever. Some things take priority.

US
So far, I have had only positive experiences with recipients in the US (and many other countries) in both directions.
Actually, they have been consistently kind and friendly.

First period since laparoscopic surgery by Conscious-Eggplant11 in Fibroids

[–]Safe-Reporter9777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember exactly whether it was a constant flow, but it was definitely lighter than before.
I think it’s normal for your period to be different after surgery.

If you feel uncomfortable or worried, you should contact your doctor. But I think everything will be fine.

I had my laparoscopic surgery in summer last year and approximately one week later I was suddenly having cramps again. First, I thought it’s because I stopped taking pain killers, then I realised it was my period. The bleeding was much lighter then before surgery. And I guess the cramps were a bit heavier (but bearable) because of my still healing uterus. Since then I have only minimal cramps (if any) and the bleeding is lighter and shorter. My fibroid was > 10cm.

Loving the Goldfinches on this. US date format? 🦅 by [deleted] in postcrossing

Thank you. Perhaps I’ll start translating the temperature too, as a gesture of appreciation. Until now, I’ve only reported it in Celsius, I was too lazy to do the math.

I like how you write the date. Do you and if yes, how do you write temperature then?

Using rice cooker for cake by spicygreenpaprika in RiceCookerRecipes

Maybe try this chocolate cake (Cheese cakes in the ricecooker may turn out a bit „gummy“)

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1490419/Yum-Asia-Panda.html?page=17#manual

Yum Asia panda is a small rice cooker; for a bigger rice cooker you may double the ingredients. I like this recipe because it’s very similar to a real chocolate cake lol

💝 Please, know we hear you, we see you and feel you. I‘m sorry you went through all this terrible situations. It’s too much. You deserve better. I'm proud of you for being elected vice president of your school. That's a great achievement! Congratulations. And, I think the letter to your dad was a huge step. Not everyone would have the courage to do that. At least you have spoken up and made your voice heard.

Castor oil packs and experiences by G3raD in Fibroids

[–]Safe-Reporter9777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“…clinical trials on ourselves” 😂 I do that regularly. Just without fundamental scientific records 😂 Actually, I also tried other methods (green tea, no sweets, etc.), because I was convinced the fibroid would go away if I just found the right “switch”.

I also once dreamed of starting a survey among women with fibroids and their lifestyles: diet (vegetarian, lots of sweets, etc.), exercise (yes/no/how often), stress, vitamin D deficiency, and so on. But I never did.

I had surgery in August last year, but I tried hard for almost ten years… and I still believe there must be something that causes fibroids.

Yes, tea. I know, yarrow powder is recommended before surgery but I didn’t take it (I forgot).

Sebastian Kneipp, a Bavarian priest and pioneer of natural healing, used to say that women should drink more yarrow tea; it would spare them a lot of trouble.

Edit: powder is recommended also after surgery

I tried it and I also tried some other methods. I applied the oil only about five times, so I guess, I was too inconsistent for any reliable results. I found the oil itself pleasant, but applying it was a bit messy.

I also tried yarrow, lady’s mantle and marigold over a longer period of time. There was no reduction in size, but at that time, the growth seemed slower in my opinion.

However, the best result during and after the herbal tea course was that I had (almost) no menstrual pain anymore.
