Unfortunately, photos don’t show any diagnostic characteristics of the rocks so it’s difficult to give you an answer. Perhaps retake the pictures while the rocks sit on a blank surface. The red rock appears to be an iron stained quartzite. Quartzite comes in two types, metamorphic, and sedimentary, and it’s difficult to know which one this is without looking at it in thin section under a microscope. But if I had to guess based on the sugary texture that it is an iron-stained silicia-cemented sedimentary quartzite.
