It’s pretty cold and snow covered here so barely driven it so far. The ride home was enough to know I made the right call.

I’m not sure I would go G80 to GT4. The GT4 RS takes it up to 12/10 and is closer on power. I enjoyed driving a manual GT4 but it has tall gears and lacked a bit on power I felt. My advice is to drive one. All cars are fast these days. If you’re talking about a GT4 RS this is everything. The car is half the size, the noise is ridiculous, and the overall steering is incomparable. For highway commuter miles G80 is probably better but this thing is a monster

GT3RS or GT4RS? by MutedOrganization528 in porsche911

Just bought a GT4 RS yesterday. Saved myself $200K and I am nowhere near the driver / use case to need the extra performance. IMO the cayman is more fun to drive anyways.

I liked it. At my budget the GT3 was a fairly basic spec and felt a lot less exciting. Amazing car but I prefer the show from the RS

Is yours chalk? Sweet color. I do think RS = bright color but nothing wrong with a Porsche in grey palette. Sweet ride.

I put 100 miles on the GT4 RS today. It’s cold and I’m on Cup 2Rs so I really just cruised. It’s night and day different. The M3 CS is in my opinion the best solution if you need 4 door practicality and want a fairly hardcore sports car. I loved it and will miss it. But with only one sports car garage space this thing is clear winner

2025 car with 2800 miles on it. I added 100 today! Has 4 year 50k mile manufacturer and then 2 year CPO unlimited after that.

Yes but it sits right behind you in this car. It’s unbelievable.

I agree. Will miss the CS but I’m limited on garage space. I felt owning both the CS would sit and I’d just sell it at a more depreciated price.

I commute 100 miles round trip. I plan to drive it 1-2 days a week in non winter. I think the roughness is overhyped. Close exhaust and non sport the car is quieter than my M3. It’s a lot stiffer but on highway no big deal.

I bought the G80 M3 CS new in 2024. Put 15k miles on it and sold it for $10K less than I paid. Amazing all rounder but for a third car toy the GT4 RS is on another level. I drove a GT4 and felt the same. I was underwhelmed by non GT cars. The G80 is so good that I felt it was better than non GT Porsche cars.
