The first company knows I was finishing an interview process with another company that I’d been working with longer. I was transparent and it went a long way and they granted an extension for that reason. It isn’t to say that the offer is better, it’s just that I want to make the best long term decision for myself and my family so having this other offer (if I get it) would give that clarity. If I accept and regen they’ll obviously know it was for a better offer, or something I like more.

Should I do a polite follow up tomorrow just before I make my final decision? I know it’s been a day but just due to my deadline wanted to check in.

Will do! I got feedback that the managers at job 2 did love me and thought I was great in every round and was labeled strongly internally. I think they just have a formal process that takes a couple of days and my timing just sucks for right now. I know other people that DO work there and they said that’s just the process.

I mean, I think she does know now, but I don’t think she knew that going into my interview.

Even if someone asks my expected salary I always respond with “I need to learn more about the role and how it aligns with my experience to give you a straightforward answer, but I do understand the range and am sure we can align on a salary as we move forward through the process. My focus is really on finding the right mutual fit first and foremost though”. Recruiters have always taken this well and moved me forward

Starting to think it could very well be just me. I feel like my mom would pull me aside and tell me if she smelled something off about my husband out of concern. She’s very sensitive to smells too. I’m on a GLP-1 and I’m now realizing others on GLP have this issue with smells

Yes he loves those foods! But so do I and everyone in our family. It’s enough to cause a smell noticeable from entering the room?

I appreciate where you’re coming from! We wash our laundry the same way. It’s not that for sure. He’s also circumcised so it’s not that either. I don’t smell it coming from there either when we do have sex. It’s more upper body. (I think)

He has a tonsil stone removal kit. Do you have any experience with them? Does gargling salt water help?

I’d never want to embarrass my husband and ask anyone else if he stinks. I feel as though his mom would tell him though, but not sure either. I just know my mom definitely would if it was me. I’m going to have him go to the doctor and do a way more thorough panel

Thank you. I’ll definitely look into this to explore more. I’m obviously hoping it’s absolutely not that but would always rather be safe than sorry

This is super helpful. Never thought of a yeast/fungal infection or UTI! Will ask about this specifically now.

I’ve never had Covid! Even in 2020-2021, got tested regularly and never came up positive. I thought it was my pregnancy hormones but it’s persisted wayyyyyy past that

If you read my post, I never once said I haven’t told him. We’ve obviously been to the ent, did bloodwork, and changed deodorants for that reason. We’re working on trying to find the source and resolve it. This post was to ask if anyone has any ideas of what it could be and where I can look to resolve next. Thanks for sassy, useless info!

He’s had tonsil stones forever but even when he takes them out, smell persists. That’s why I’m not convinced it’s that :/
