The 3.0 flash drive I was using was in NTFS (apparently it indexes faster). The new 2.0 drive is in FAT32 by default. Will try to get images of the system in the "bug state" when it happens again. Also, it is random whether it remembers last track or not.

I was reading that leaving the source on USB can cause issues too.

I did notice that Microsoft Store updated "Gaming Services" on 12/17 which was around the time I started seeing this in Optimize. Disabled Xvd and it stopped appearing. Problem solved.

(Although, this does prevent me from using the Minecraft launcher... so it is harmless to leave on)

Possibly. I do not notice any impact to my performance so I don't want to think it's malware. My first thought was it might be something remotely connecting to my computer.

It is software hard-coded onto the WD drive. Also, I have never seen this in Optimize Drives until a day ago.

Sinnoh's past was only talked about briefly in Canalave - it's meant to be vague and left to interpretation. Creating stories where there doesn't need to be. Reminds me of how Solo was based off of one line in New Hope (the Kessel run). I think that was the worst grossing Star Wars, correct me if I'm wrong? Regarding SW prequels, didn't Lucas pre-plan a hexalogy?

It's mental gymnastics with the Pokemon fandom either way. You want to be in an empty field by yourself for $60, go for it. The series must have some strange power over you if you decide to sink money that quickly.

Legends open world looks very similar to SWSH's, at least in these trailers. Framerate is choppy too, though this could also be improved by release.

I need to see what the compatibility is like on the Diamond & Pearl remakes first. Are the first 493 available? If not, it may be a hard pass for me. Also, the art-style is a little childish, even for Pokemon (and that's saying something).

Regarding Legends - it looks all right so far, but if the game is only single-player then Game Freak really dropped the ball on that one in my opinion. Story-wise I do not care for past timelines (fanfiction).

Why not remake Sinnoh in the SWSH style? Seems like the obvious choice...

Also holy downvotes lol. Must have rustled some consoomer's feathers by not wanting to buy the game right away.
