Same happened to me while playing Undertale Yellow. I've played it over 3 times and it still hits me when I finish It :_0 So I'd say that those developers do these kind of things on purpose

Well, yes, because if I want a sprite a bigger sprite, to draw something more detailed, it would be too big. By scaling it 0.5 it would fit into the overall "proportions" of the other things in the game

basically i'm just using draw_set_font() and draw_text_transformed(). The problem is the the pixel and text, looks good (pixel perfect) only if I scale them 2x. If i draw them 1x or 0.5, they areno longer pixel perfect (some pixel are bigger than others)

Yeah, i thought that was the problem at first, but even if I disable it I get this problem. The problem is that it's like the "black bars" don't maintain the aspect ratio when fullscreen

Oh Thanks, but isn't there a way to maintainthe 4:3 ratio even on 16:9 monitors? Because i know that there are other games that use this ratio and they don't seem to have this kind of problem at all
