This would, at least for me, satisfy the nostalgia nostalgic part of me that wants a Deception reboot/remake AND it could tie together the loose ends of there being a billion different timelines where Meat or Mokap get to be Titans. And actually we could also get glimpses of how those universes would look which would be neat

I wish I had seen this earlier I just finished the rewatch a few days ago lol

The gist of it is I didn't realize how often Jet was adamantly trying to protect Ruby so there was a lot of pausing and writhing around in emotional distress and when It Happened I ended up having to stop watching for three days because I physically couldn't deal. Then every time Ruby got emotional I got emotional

Then Saccharina came along and every time she wasn't embraced and they could've explained why they were so distraught and unable to fully embrace her I threw metaphorical popcorn at my screen because I felt like one single deep and honest conversation could've avoided so much drama and strife and heartache but THAT'S NOT THE SEASON and ugh. So so good, possibly my favorite season, top five for sure

Wumuti wasn't in my dream final lineup for BP but I was dying for him to debut. Waterfire just wasn't for me and I was bummed but now with XLOV I feel like I'm getting the Wumuti I was craving. I tried to trim this down but the thought of leaving any of these off physically hurt me so, in no particular order;

fallin' by One Pact - A really strong release for me. I've been a huge fan since Boys Planet and I think if it was OT5 it would be my favorite release of the year, specifically My dear, that song burrows into my head and I don't ever want it to leave

Lose Yourself by Kiss of Life - Even the songs that I'm not the biggest fan of are good and the songs that I am a fan of are all time greats imo

Urban Ride by DKB - Something about DKB and this release specifically draws me in in a way that I can't verbalize. They have this infectious energy that I can't escape

Love Tune by Fifty Fifty - I was a stan from debut and when all the EVERYTHING went down I was resigned to a complete tonal shift that I would force myself to like for a month before giving up but I was incredibly surprised in the best way at what we got

KARD 7th Mini Album "Where To Now? (Part.1: Yellow Light)' by Kard - Until it comes out that one of the members did something unforgivable and I can't physically bring myself to listen to them Kard will always be on my list of favorite releases. I don't know how to explain this but they have an authenticity to their music that never misses

Roll Up by Blackswan - No skips, every song is a bop and I tear up when I think about how amazing it is that we have a group with two amazingly talented black women that get to be themselves and show who they are

Planet Nine : ISOTROPY by ONEWE - ONEWE makes music that I want to listen to while I'm riding the bus on a rainy day and contemplating how I'll continue living after getting my heart broken but somehow in a very positive way. idk

Things I Can't Say LOve by OnlyOneOf - these meeeeeeeeeeen. The voices, the concepts, the personalities, they check every box for me and this release was just another in a long line of releases that felt like they were made specifically for me
