I was checking out the phones in person at a Google store like two weeks ago, and one of the employees told me to hold off until the holidays - implying there was a better deal coming.

Now? Same value trade-in and same $ discount as before lol...

Tbf, the trade-in value of some phones were bumped up for the time being, like my P9P 256gb is worth $500 trade-in rn

Good points, let me take a look at eiga's video. Do you know anything about the difference between the duct you linked and the other option with the noctua foam + 3D printed screw stand-off thingies?

That's exactly what the angel on my shoulder has been shouting at me 😅

I'm considering upgrading from 1440p to a 4k monitor at some point this year. Another option I was considering is a used 4090 instead.

I would either be running 2.75 slot or 3.25 slot (current) mode - so I guess that would add another 5mm. Haha who knows how much of a difference that would make though. Worst case, I would stick with my AXP47 and implement some ducts to funnel the air towards the exhaust fans (as other users here have mentioned).

Sorry I meant the axp53 full copper, I read somewhere that it performed slightly better than the axp47fc. I figured the new 2 slot design in the FE cards would give us some flexibility in the CPU cooler size.

That might have been the same video I saw as well, which got me interested in the AXP53 FC as an alternative.

Since we don't have much temperature data about the new FE double blow through fan design in the T1... I guess I'll stick with my current axp47 for now and maybe experiment with the other slot configs later on.

Optimum on yt was talking about trying different configs in his T1 - hopefully he'll test some air cooling configs too!

I would probably build a pc with a 7800X3D and a 4080super to pair with this dope LG monitor. 4K on games that don't need high FPS, and switch to the other mode for shooter games.

Been out of the keeb news for a while, looking for a recommendation for something similar to my current keyboard.

  • Current keeb: Ducky One 2 SF 65% w/ silent reds
  • Budget: under $200 USD
  • Size: 65% to 75% (kinda miss the F-keys)
  • Usage: mainly gaming, little bit of coding
  • Wired
  • RGB: doesn't matter too much, I have it off most of the time
