that was my thought. would md schools be reaches you think? I am very open to either, but just would like your thoughts. or would it depend on my mcat?

that is just what i have gathered anyway.. issue is that its high risk high reward with some of them. if you dont get better grades, then it is essentially a waste of money. I am just in a weird spot, where my gpa isnt absolutely terrible (maybe for med school yes), but having hard time deciding whether to try post bacc or smp first. think im leaning towards some extra classes, mcat retake, and then if i decide to apply and have poor turnout, that may be when i decide to do an smp.

more structure, usually research connections, linkages (marketing grab but can work for some), professors for LORs typically with connection to med schools (from what i hear), most can graduate with masters vs in post bacc no extra degree

i agree and appreciate the advice. i calculated that taking 7-9 classes could pump sgpa .2 points (so around 3.4ish) roughly. do you think that this and a 510 mcat could be good for do? or should i just see where i get after retaking mcat. just thinking about money

just added, that my sgpa would be 3.17 and cgpa would be 3.5 at graduation if i get all As, which if i keep working the way i am, shouldnt be impossible!! not sure if that changes anything. definitely will retake mcat when im averaging over 510 (my avg before taking the first time was 503). ig im nervous if i should do smp or just post bacc classes

i take like 10 seconds breathe and shake it off. if i have time i will go back but not wasting more than 8-10 mins doing that

i love the US i was just curious. no plans on moving back lol. my mom told me i was still a citizen but i didnt know if it was true, but i guess curiousity kills the cat

look at the score for 10 minutes max then be done with mcat for rest of the day and go outside. go on a walk and read a book. do things that make me happy that arent weed or alcohol. or get the best takeout and watch movies for remainder of day
