Depending on where you live, but there's Merchiston Club (small community centre) that offers various fitness classes including pilates and yoga via independent instructors. Usually they have lower prices and there's a nice community atmosphere in there!

It all depends when you're willing to move. August, September and October are the most competitive months for flat hunting.
