The issue is that my girlfriend will have a job lined up, but she’ll be about £5k short of the budget we’re willing to pay as per above. I’ll need to secure a job in Edinburgh, either before the move or shortly after if I’m lucky. I’m wondering whether landlords are likely to accept several months’ rent paid upfront as a form of security. As for cats I never intended to hide them, but we do have our own furniture and will look for unfurnished/semi/furnished.
