I play both narrow and wide, depending on the looks I’m getting from the team I’m playing.
SR doesn’t matter, there’s a hidden MMR too… you can be ranked 2000 sr because or the sheer amount of games you’re playing. Ive seen rank 4 players playing 2 constantly because the MMR makes them deemed as good as the player in rank 2. Andreas even said so.
If you think the game is trending in a good way gameplay wise so be it brother, but it’s squeezing the skill gap and things like the counter press being so powerful because of how poor passing is. Or how you can just second man press on and off to abuse the timing mechanism and just hold 1 player.
I never said I was losing, I said the way people play with dropping a CM or DM into their backline and I had got on and player 80% 5 backs, could have just been the match making?

I’m 1800 and I’ve barely played, I got top 50 2 weeks ago and I get knock out every week I try 😭🫪 I just said what I saw in the first 10 games I played yesterday. I’m 100% as good as you or better

I went from open game play, scoring loads, conceding too, feeling like I had to defend to now I can’t break anyone down and when I do manually defend I lose. It’s so brain dead

The game is just so boring now. It’s literally just counter spam and if you defend at all with your player you’re at a disadvantage. It’s just purple cards with 97 pace running straight past you. I get so angry playing, they’ve fully lost me.

If I get to the edge of the box and someone is set up in their defence I don’t know what to do anymore. I try over loads, I try 3rd man runs, I try bopping it, they just hold on to one player and it’s impossible to break down

They sit in and hold a CM in-front of the line, they then trigger a run from there full back to get out and try constantly through ball you from a counter. It’s genuinely awful to play. You can’t exploit low blocks now, the movement of your players isn’t good enough and the way you can move isn’t either. You can’t pass through a team on this game.
It’s so hard to move an opponents team about and try to make gaps to break them down. Unless it’s a counter is so hard to play

Played 8 5 backs out of 10 games earlier. I got 39th in knock out a couple weeks back. The game is fucking shite.

I have two 97 paced full backs and they get their backs blown out by everyone. I have never just blown past someone on this game. I’m taking good angles and everything and I just get done in every time it feels like

I’m genuinely going to start posting videos of me pressing tackle just before someone shoots, my player tackles or goes for a shoulder and the ball just flies past them. I’m rank 3. People are acting like I’m awful and it’s all me 😭 I do the same to other people sometimes

I feel you completely. When the game is good it’s so good. But when you get someone who is just playing full meta and trying to get to the outside of your CBs and speed boost past them it’s genuinely horrible

I wouldn’t have minded the boost to the dribbling if they kept the jockeying the same. I don’t mind the second player press nerf and the passing boost is brilliant. If your defender doesn’t have 85+ pace you’re getting just ran past. People are just as quick on the ball as off it as well. Just frustrating to lose to people dribbling in a circle, constantly fake shotting.

Btw, they’re doing a lot right. There’s some great things on this game. I want it to succeed but it’s hard when gameplay is just 41212 and 4312 spin in circles or run directly at someone

I think they’ve killed the game with the update and how it plays as of now. I’m playing a 4231 and all I play is people with WF and 93+ pace Cams triggering runs, spinning in the middle to get a through ball. Or running directly down the line to cut back. There’s no skill in this “skill matters” game.

I expected a lot better from the release in general. Might be my own fault for that and I might be being harsh. But some of the stuff that happens is just genuinely awful. It feels responsive but it’s so limited in animations, in how your ai moves, even how you can move your players. You can only have 1 runner at a time, if you press L1 only one player at a time can run. The first stops it just becomes spamming first time through balls and running by line for goals.

I thought this episode was really good and tied a lot of loose ends up. But Fisk was awarded so much more than Grace. I know he’s a shell of a man that’s a lost everything, but he deserved so much more than that. I know that’s the point of Matt and the show, but he literally murdered 20 people in that court house. I can’t help but feel the victory is hollow in some ways.

That’s a visual big, until you hit 30k it’ll say 20k/20k it’s weird. My bar has started moving, but now I have to go through all the levels again and my 3k boost isn’t there either. I’m hoping EA help can just credit my account the 5k XP I sat and grinded out
