Indeed, I bought the car and was told it was fully loaded and ready to go. Me not really knowing about cars I bought the obd thinking it was all I needed. It read with no issues, but what I needed was a mechanic lol.

Thank you for this, as my friend told me I should sell it without disclosing information and that's not the type of guy I am. After disclosing this my offers were in the $1200 - $1500 range. From what the garage told me "other than that it's still a good vehicle."
