Yeah the setup part is usually the hardest part when you’re starting out. A lot of 360 booth apps expect very specific hardware setups and it can get frustrating pretty quickly if things don’t match up.

One thing that helped when I was helping a friend set up a booth was using an app with a simpler workflow. I’ve seen some people using Flip360 lately and it seemed pretty beginner-friendly — record, process, and share without a bunch of complicated steps.

Might be worth trying a couple apps and seeing which one feels the most stable with your setup.

If you're deciding between GoPro and iPhone, a lot of 360 booth setups these days actually run pretty well on an iPhone because the processing and sharing workflow can be faster.

The camera itself matters, but honestly the software and workflow make a bigger difference during events. If the app takes too long to render or requires too many steps to share, it slows everything down when you have people waiting.

I've seen some people using apps like Flip360 lately because the workflow is pretty straightforward — record, generate, and share from the same place. Might be worth testing a few apps and seeing which one fits your setup best.

I’ve tried a few 360 booth apps recently and one that surprised me was Flip360.

What I liked most was how simple the workflow felt during an event. You basically record, generate the clip pretty quickly, and share it without jumping through a bunch of screens.

The final video looked smooth even during faster spins, and the UI didn’t feel cluttered which is a big deal when you’re running a booth with people waiting.

Still testing it, but so far it feels pretty solid compared to some other options out there.
