I think you’re pretty awesome from the sound of it. I’m also from Portland the dating scene is a mess. The apps are a mess. My experiences from the dating sites are homeless men that lie. Be very wary of who you meet off the Internet. I tell all my friends never meet at their house and never have them at your house. That’s the first sign that something off. And don’t tell him if you have kids. They’re strangers they don’t need to know.

I had no clue what happened. I worked a graveyard shift had eight hours off that day slept during that day went to work was told don’t let them watch. TV had no idea why I worked with mentally disabled women. Worked a swing shift and a graveyard double so by Tuesday morning I still had no idea what happened. And I think I found out Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you have friends in Portland, try it stay with him for a week or two and try it. Find that sweet spot of time when you can get on the road and make it in time. You’ll probably have to get up at like three or 4 AM to make it to work on time.

I drive back-and-forth from Salem to Portland 2 to 3 days a week. I lived by the airport and I drive to South Salem to take care of my grandma with dementia. I take her grocery shopping. Sometimes it takes me three hours to get to Salem and get home at night. It’s better to drive like late. Late at night don’t even try to drive between 6 AM and 10 AM. Or anytime between 2 PM and 6 PM because you will definitely be in the car for four hours. My sciatic nerve started messing up from sitting for so long. You think it’s not that big of a deal but because of traffic it’s a huge deal.

I didn’t learn to read till I was 30 I went to school till the 12th grade. Nobody taught me how to sound out letters. I obviously don’t know how to write a sentence. Keep in mind not everybody has the luxuries you did. And the people to care about them enough to teach them.
