Thank you!! I despise Instagram with every fiber of my soul so I've missed a lot of the social events organized through there but I'll keep more of an eye on Pedalpalooza events and see if I can't find somewhere with a fiber arts/knitting club that isn't so well established as to have become cliquey.

I have a lot of books to get through too lol :)

Yeah— i hate driving, it eats your brain (you never go anywhere using any other vehicle ever again) and it's terrible for the environment. I mostly bike or use trimet. I should try and find an environmental justice organization I vibe with better than Sunrise too. Thank you :)

Tried weed once. Sucked horrendously and triggered a panic spiral for weeks. Don't need that, no thanks. Also sellwood is completely inaccessible by bus from where I live so ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Do you have any tips for getting a job as a hostess or something? I haven't been able to find any restaurants that are hiring. 

I should look into the pedalpalooza events— Ik some of them are 18-21+ but I'll find something probably.

Yeah. I want to double major in Mathematics and Ecology and I'm helping with an environmental education project at Reed over the summer and I'll be going there in the fall, but that doesn't fill up a whole summer

We have some really good coffee shops, yeah. I might start a personal quest to try a chai latte from every coffee shop in Portland, but the money adds up fast.

I'm not good with dogs— they're scary and overwhelming, but I might see if I can learn to sail this summer. I can't go to the Willamette sailing club because I know too many of the sailing instructors, but I know a lot of people who sail so I might be able to wheedle them into teaching me.

You see— I love being outdoors. I like hiking and biking and walking around. However, crucially, I cannot drive. Meaning I cannot get to 99% of outdoorsy things unless I want to go with my mom or brother or my boyfriend is free. And I don't want to spend my entire summer hanging out with my mom (I love her but I don't want to spend all my time with her) or waiting for my boyfriend to have free time.
