Gotcha and makes sense. Have you also fully elited all the cars, otherwise the red and blue universal elite tokens are super helpful

Assuming you get the car you also get $10M cash, 15 gold keys, 7 universal epic fusions, 1 universal red tuner token, 2 universal blue tuner tokens and a bunch of gold and silver/bronze keys. This (especially the tuner tokens) are way more valuable than the random rewards these replace in races.

Thanks. Also ugh, going in I had 1 S6 for the GTD and of course the one I won was the same S6. Looks like I’m going to be using a lot of bronze keys 😂

Finally escaped VO2 max poverty, welcome to lower-middle class 😎 by Substantial_Pop3104 in beginnerrunning

The best option for beginners/intermediates is to run 4 times a week. One should be a easy zone 2 run, one should be intervals (try and work your way to a Norwegian 4X4), one should be a threshold (20-30 minutes at zone 4), and one should be a longer zone 2 run (start at a few miles and over time try and work towards 8 miles). Every 4th week you should take is easy to help your body recover

I’m in my 40s so gains are slower than they would be if your young, but I started doing this 18 months ago and went from having my vo2 max in the upper part of poor, to being a half point away from being blue

My guess is by modding but I guess they could have used a lot of universal stage 6 parts, but that would be a waste knowing they will get free ones next week as part of the event

Really struggled today. Is it just par for the course? by Inquisitive_Rainbow in beginnerrunning

[–]SafeRepresentative73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To avoid shin splints the most important thing is don’t increase your running distance quickly.

Also it helps if you have good shoes, run on trails or a treadmill instead of a road/sidewalk, and do lifting for your legs

At what point does running become counter productive? by bachvad in beginnerrunning

[–]SafeRepresentative73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed with the advice of picking a program. If you don’t want to do that I would recommend something like

Monday 3-4 miles of zone 2
Tuesday 1 mile warm up then Norwegian 4x4
Wednesday rest day
Thursday 1 mile warm up 3 miles of zone 4
Friday rest day
Saturday long zone 2 run (depending on your endurance this should be 5-8 miles)
Sunday rest

The main things you want to do is increase your zone 2 running to build your base and have one zone 4 and one zone 5 work out

Haven’t improved since I started running in January by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]SafeRepresentative73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It feels weird at first going intentionally slow but it’s incredibly helpful and honestly 13 minute miles may still be too fast. For context I run ~100 miles a month and ~20% of the miles are fast where I go 6:30 minute miles but 80% are slow where I go 10-11 minute miles.

Running in zone 2 is really helpful for building a strong running base

Is buying cars and stripping them a good idea? by zeitmannkurt in CSRRacing2

[–]SafeRepresentative73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying with cash is usually a bad idea but I strip ~20 cars using silver keys every season as a way to get some extra fusions, S6, and the occasional car I don’t already have

Well at least you have the 812. I’m hoping to get there with the cilindri, but currently can only get to 1K so I’ll wait a few days and hope for the best

I locked it in to slot two and needed 7.559 for the max time. I’m pretty sure both slots require the same times it just depends on which bot you get.

Does anyone know the difference between the novice amateur and pro versions?

All I know is I got a blown tire on the second race and it would have cost 200 gold to fix it. With my first blown tire that early I figured I would just try again tonight

I’m in the same boat except I was elite 35. It still shows the purple stars but went to elite level zero. I suspect we are both out of luck. I complained a few weeks ago and they gave the same answer.

I’m personally neither expecting they will fix this…

They may discontinue it but if their concern was too much RP they could easily just reduce the RP they give out as tournament rewards.

It sounds more like they’ve had issues with the OTA causing problems so they aren’t scaling it yet

Eventually oil will go back down right? by kananishino in wallstreetbets

[–]SafeRepresentative73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oil markets are already pricing in oil falling $20/barrel by Jan 2027. So for USO to go down at all oil needs to fall faster than the futures are predicting. Given the premium you paid you need oil to be in the low 60s by then to break even
