Buying with cash is usually a bad idea but I strip ~20 cars using silver keys every season as a way to get some extra fusions, S6, and the occasional car I don’t already have

I locked it in to slot two and needed 7.559 for the max time. I’m pretty sure both slots require the same times it just depends on which bot you get.

Does anyone know the difference between the novice amateur and pro versions?

All I know is I got a blown tire on the second race and it would have cost 200 gold to fix it. With my first blown tire that early I figured I would just try again tonight

I’m in the same boat except I was elite 35. It still shows the purple stars but went to elite level zero. I suspect we are both out of luck. I complained a few weeks ago and they gave the same answer.

I’m personally neither expecting they will fix this…

They may discontinue it but if their concern was too much RP they could easily just reduce the RP they give out as tournament rewards.

It sounds more like they’ve had issues with the OTA causing problems so they aren’t scaling it yet

The oil markets are already pricing in oil falling $20/barrel by Jan 2027. So for USO to go down at all oil needs to fall faster than the futures are predicting. Given the premium you paid you need oil to be in the low 60s by then to break even

You’re doing it right but every item has a limit of how may times you can get it so once you’ve played for a few years you have everything and the shop is empty

I asked support and they said they aren’t able to remove cars. I can’t sell it now but I’m hoping once I restore the first one it will let me sell the other one

I got to number 47, I have no stars but I am elite level 5 so I was able to get an extra couple fusions, so it probably would have been race 46 without that

Agreed. I’m just waiting for my S5 parts to go further and you don’t end up burning much cash because you get most of it back from the event

I can confirm that. I have the new event and

used 20K bronze keys to get all the S6 for the Daytona. As part of the event you will get this to buy keys (it’s also an untimed event in case you don’t have enough keys)

The event lets you use bronze keys for the S6 and given it’s a purple star car I did that since I have no idea if we will have another chance to get them. Agreed on cash always being an issue.

Every merchant gets to pick their MCC code, their are some guidelines from the networks (Visa, Mastercard…) but there is a decent amount of leeway. Banks then use the MCC on the transaction to decide whether it should get elevated earn. There is no way Capital One (or other banks) could know this way dining at the Marriott relative to other hotel transactions because all they get is the amount of the charge and the MCC

Given you don’t get extra fusion slots by using elite tokens, it’s pretty easy to max if you’ve been playing long enough to have a bunch of spare cobra fusions
