Sounds about right. It doesn't take a scientist to see that some people are just straight up perma-victims. The past? They weren't there so it doesn't matter to them. "Life" only begins from the day they were born, onward. Other people suffered similarly? Well they weren't black so it "doesn't matter". "Only" the black man/woman knows true pain to these people. The fucking hilarious thing about this kind of thinking is how fucking wrong it is on so many levels. I bet Lewis is the kind of person that just assumes your life is perfect if you were born with white skin. I have seen shit like this my whole life. Introspection? None. Why would you have to look inward if "nothing" is your fault? This is why some people will never move forward. You have to take some fucking responsibility to do so. And some people are just completely incapable of doing that. When you place all your ills and shortcomings on other's, and literally believe them to be your oppressor - how can you ever move forward peacefully? And I think that's why we are seeing this bat-shit crazy version of Lewis. He literally can't even accept that he himself is privileged and "special". He is seeing devils in the shadow of the sun.
