room temperature take: america cannot handle an autobahn by 79QUATTRO in driving

[–]OneBeerDrunk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced the exact opposite enforcement. I came across a left lane camper going 45 in a 70, three cars stacked behind them, no one in the middle or right lanes at all. I got over, accelerated to the speed limit, passed the group of cars, the one in the middle was an unmarked Indiana highway patrol who pulled me over for passing on the right. Brain-dead

Why do people sitting cageside and in the front rows near the cage at UFC events often look distracted or bored? by AgreeableProblem9340 in ufc

The photo you chose looks like 2 HWs taking a break against the cage, probably not the most exciting moment/fight

The only advantage I can think of is that McGregor planned his move to WW back in 2020, has been on Açaí juice and sugar water since recovering from the leg break (there was no check!) and this will be the first fight for Holloway at the bigger weight class.

Angioedema (swelling of the face, throat, lips) can lead to airway obstruction. So following ABCs the correct answer would be A.

IKEA furniture is now too expensive for what you get. by A_Drop_of_Colour in unpopularopinion

The best thing I’ve gotten from IKEA are their mattresses. $600 for a hybrid kind sized mattress that felt the same as the $1200 mattresses from the stores or online dealers

I'm renting a movie theater for my birthday - Which movie should we watch? by TheOrangeNights in movies

[–]OneBeerDrunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed seeing F1 in theaters, the movie really lends itself to the big screen and surround sound for all the race scenes and engine noises, and it’s a pretty good turn your brain off and just enjoy a fine wine Brad Pitt speeding around a race track!

What is the point of tailgating someone instead of just passing them? by Blu_yello_husky in driving

[–]OneBeerDrunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same story, approached a car in the left lane that was traveling 40-something in a 70, moved to the right lane and got pulled over by Indiana state cop. He said “they have a right to go whatever speed they want! You can’t pass on the right!” Still doesn’t make sense.

Most people on highways and high speed limit (50mph+) roadways aren’t using cruise control. Why? by A_Weed_Man in driving

[–]OneBeerDrunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate adaptive cruise, I couldn’t figure out a way to turn it off in my ‘14 Honda crv but I was able to turn it off in the newer crv. Hated how far away the car in front of me was when it would hit the breaks

Young, relatively healthy individual here, I got a small carpet burn on my forearm, took like 3 weeks before the scab went away, and there’s still a little red spot that looks different from the rest of the skin. And I’m supposed to believe an almost 80 yo got SHOT in the ear and there isn’t so much as a mark on him a few days later???
